Davis Lake Dolphins Swim Team
Preparations for the 2008 Dolphins Swim Season are underway and coaches Morgan Allen, Ashlee Brust, Kala Brust and Laura Donato are laying the groundwork for a successful season for a Dolphin team of over 120 competitors, ages 5-18. Participation on this community swim team instills teamwork, competition, camaraderie and instills in the children the community spirit that resonates throughout Davis Lake. Residents that are not participating in the swim season are welcomed and encouraged to come out and support your neighbor Dolphins!-

This document lists the tasks and meets that each family is assigned to work. You will also receive a paper copy in your swim team folder. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator, Beth Ann Calhoun, at Bcalhoun9130@bellsouth.net. For home meets, you need to be at the pool by 4:45 and away meets, 5:15. Arrival times for Championship meets will be given at a later date.
Remember, summer swimming is only successful with full parental involvement. It takes 30+ people in addition to the meet directors to run a swim meet. Please mark your calendars and be at the pools on time. Directions to meets are located in the Swim Team Manual link.
Please
check for the latest info on volunteering and remember that we need
EACH parent to volunteer. Also, looking for a Clerk of Course for
the 6/24 home meet against Cedarfield. If you are willing to step
up and take on this job for the meet, please contact me at Bcalhoun9130@bellsouth.net.
