Davis Commons (formerly known as Mill Creek Apartments)

Charlotte, NC – December 8, 2004—Aspen Square Management has taken over management of Davis Commons formerly known as Mill Creek Apartments. Aspen Square Management continues to be a leader in the multi-family housing industry, managing over 22,000+ apartment homes nationwide. Since the acquisition in March, the on-site staff has been assisting residents in finding alternate housing since Aspen Square Management does not participate in the HUD (Department of Housing and Urban Development) program in Charlotte. Residents who were able to continue their residency had to reapply and meet rental income guidelines without any assistance. As of December 2004, most of the residents under the former management company have found new housing.

Since early summer, a diligent crew of Aspen Square employees and local contractors have been continuously working to give Davis Commons a long overdue face-lift. Exterior renovations include repairing the outer part of each building, fixing the parking areas and beautifying the landscaping. Interior renovations include re-facing all of the interiors of each apartment home, painting, replacing carpets, flooring, and appliances. The office team is working toward a minimum of 50% occupancy by late spring, early summer 2005. Kelli Miller is managing the leasing office during the start-up phase while Kate Clark is assisting in marketing. Scott Fuller is in charge of the renovations and the maintenance of the property while Gary Wallace is co-managing the maintenance crew.

Davis Commons now offers many features, including a Laundry Facility, Modern Clubhouse, Picnic areas, Newly Upgraded Playground, New Fitness Center, New Business Center, Swimming Pool, 24-Hour Emergency Maintenance and affordable rates. The rental values begin at $775.00 with the security deposit of $250. They also offer discounted rent for preferred employers in the Charlotte area. Floor plans range from 2, 3 & 4 bedroom apartments and feature fully applianced oak kitchens, designer baths, new carpeting, washer/dryer connections & rentals, phone & cable outlets, oversized patios & balconies and extra storage space. Included in the rent: High Speed Internet and Extended Cable, Waste Management Service, Sewer and Water. Pets are also welcome at Davis Commons.
